Tommy Bruce Gala Concert
Sunday 15th January 2006
As many of you will be aware, Tommy, a great British 60's singing
legend, is currently very poorly. I have known Tommy for many years
and have lots of happy memories of concert appearances with him. Along
with many other artistes from the 1960's I have been invited to appear
in a major benefit concert in aid of Tommy that is taking place on
Sunday 15th January 2006 at the Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar, Middlesex.
Tommy is a real 'cockney' character and his 'gravel' voice graced
many hit records during the early 60's. I had no hesitation in supporting
this very worthwhile Gala evening and will be performing along with
numerous other show business friends. Hopefully many of you will be
able to attend. Ticket information and details of the other artistes
appearing can be found on the Gig Guide
page.

I have recently met with Graham Hunter, an Entertainer and part-time
journalist, and have completed an interview with him for publication
in the Beat magazine in 2006. I first met Graham
many years ago when he interviewed me for his book on 1950's and 60's
pop stars entitled 'Then and Now,' copies of which can be obtained
direct from Graham.
For details contact Graham at huntersings@hotmail.com.
Graham regularly contributes articles to many magazines and the current
edition of The Beat magazine contains an article by Graham on my good
friend Eden Kane, Graham has also had a great article on country singer
Glen Campbell published in that magazine. It was a real pleasure meeting
up with Graham after all these years.
This month I am revisiting Alan Wilson's Western - Star Studios to
put down more vocal tracks for my NEW CD to be released during 2006. It's
really great to be back recording again. Additionally I will be appearing
in Concert in Exeter with the Rapiers and good friends Mike Berry
and Jet Harris, hopefully many of you will be able to attend.
Looking ahead December brings more concert appearances and a couple
of radio interviews but more about this next month.
I'm really pleased that both Peter Williams and Suzi Jari have joined
up with my Management Company, JRM
Partners.
Both are really talented artistes and I know you will be hearing more
about them both in the future. Peter's current instrumental CD release,
Tribute to Billy Fury Vol. 2, is available in the shop.
He is getting some really great reviews for it.
Always Yours,
