Tony
Meehan  As most of you will know, Tony Meehan, the original drummer of The Shadows, has died following an accident at his home in London. After leaving The Shadows Tony joined up with Jet Harris to form the duo Jet and Tony and together they had many major hit records. I have fond memories of my tours of the UK with them, Tony also playing drums on some of my recordings. I always found Tony to be a very friendly and modest person and my thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
